China-based Nubia backed by Chinese multinational smartphone company ZTE launched today its all-new flagship smartphone, ZTE Nubia N1, in the home country with a price tag of 1,699 Yuan (approximately $254 USD).

Equipped with high-end specs, the new device comes with a premium bezel-less design featuring aluminum build body. It comes in just two color options – Silver and Gold.

Not to forget the company had earlier launched its Z11 in four colors – Gold, Gray, Coffee Gold and Silver.

The ZTE Nubia N1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and pixel density of 401 ppi. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) slots.

Powered by MediaTek’s Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor and MediaTek’s mid-range SoC, the phone is equipped with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of native storage (upgradable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card) and 13-megapixel rear camera featuring PDAF (phase detection auto focus), 0.2s autofocus, 3D Noise Reduction and f/2.2 aperture.

The front or selfie camera too comes with 13-megapixel sensor, but is not identical to the front units.

In terms of connectivity the ZTE Nubia N1 device offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, 2G/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack and USB Type-C.

Fueled by a massive 5000 mAh battery for longer talk time, browsing website, chatting with friends and watching streaming videos, the phone comes with Quick Charge 3.0 technology too. It sports fingerprint sensor positioned at the back under the rear camera and the company claims the handset takes just 0.2 seconds to unlock. It is also learned the phone features split screen multitasking.

The phone is currently only made available in China and it is not yet known when the company plans for releasing it in other markets.

Just a week ago the company also launched ZTE Nubia Z11 in two variants – 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage. The phones were priced tagged 2,499 Yuan and 3,499 Yuan respectively.
