Leaked Image Shows Back Cover of Meizu Pro 7, A Black Colored Variant
An image leaked online shows back of Meizu Pro 7, the phone about which very less has been rumored until now. Even though the purported image does not suggests to be a Pro 7, but the device carries a Meizu brand on a black colored variant. The image reveals a glass protection on the back equipped with a camera above an LED flash. By the look it seems to be a flagship phone of Meizu.
Earlier this year, in May, an image surfaced online alleged to be the front side of Meizu Pro 7. It revealed the phone to come with curved screen, making tech enthusiasts believe competing manufacturers of Samsung have started to catch on the double curved screens that was seen in the latest edge-branded smartphones.
GSM Arena writes China-based Meizu is currently working on its own ‘edge’ devices and the market would see it on the shelves in the second half of 2016.
The website further writes Meizu may either name the device as Pro 6 Edge or Pro 7, and probably to price tag it at 3,000 Yuan (approximately $450 USD). The device is expected to come with some kind of dedicated edge shortcuts functionality, similar to what we have earlier seen with Samsung Edge Screen.
An insider has cited confirmation of Meizu CEO Huang Zhang that the new phone is under development and is to come with Flyme OS 6 that is based on Android and is the next version of the company’s own UI. The phone may be powered by a new Exynos 8890 processor.
Meizu gained popularity after recently launching the first 10-core processor phone in the world. It is dubbed as Pro 6. Share your own views with us and fellow readers whether the Meizu Pro 7 phone with curved screen to have the potential of becoming a great hit. Use the below given comment box.
